Description of Event:
This half day conference will provide diverse businesses with the immediate opportunity to network with decision makers from large corporations who provide contracting opportunities. The focus is to identify and locate diverse vendors in our region and connect them with companies within our region who truly understand the value of diverse supplier chains.

What is the purpose of the event?
The purpose is to provide a forum where diverse businesses can meet one on one with decision makers in purchasing.
What are the criteria for exhibitors?
The exhibitors are prime contractors, public and private entities who are looking to do business with minority and women owned businesses.
What is the format?
The format is very simple.
7:30am- Registration and Networking
8:00am- Breakfast and Panel Discussion
9am-11:30am- Breakout sessions running simultaneously.
One breakout being face to face networking opportunities with decision makers, purchasing and procurement contacts as well as certifying agencies. The other session will be speed networking, a workshop to help coach small businesses on how to follow up on contacts, build relationships and present their business to prospective contract providers. Again, our emphasis is in creating a forum where connections can be made among suppliers and diverse vendors.

What should I have prepared?
We encourage small businesses to come with business cards and company brochures to provide to exhibitors explaining your business. Exhibitors will be prepared to share their vendor registration process, criteria and any other pertinent information needed for potential vendors.
