The Legislators' Forum is designed to facilitate interaction between our members and State Government officials. This year, HRC/CREDC has divided the event into two separate days. Legislators' Forum I featured members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and was held on January 29th.
The following members of the Senate were in attendance:
- Senator Jake Corman
- Senator Mike Folmer
- Senator John Gordner
- Senator Jeffrey Piccola
- Senator Patricia Vance
"On behalf of the Chamber and CREDC, I would like to thank the members of the Senate who participated in our event today," stated Dave Black, President & CEO of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. "Our objective of the Legislators' Forum is to inform our members of all of the issues facing individuals and businesses on the local, regional and state levels. HRC/CREDC's 2007 legislative priorities include Business Tax Reform, Health Care, Meaningful Lawsuit Abuse Reform and Medical Liability Reform and Transportation.
The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC serves as a catalyst for promoting growth and quality of life in Cumberland , Dauphin and Perry Counties by providing a unique blend of business, community and economic development and advocacy services under one roof to boost our economic vitality and livability as a region. HRC/CREDC has been accredited with four stars from the United States Chamber of Commerce.
