The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Provides Financing to Support Growth of Computer Development Systems

THE HARRISBURG REGIONAL CHAMBER & CREDC PROVIDES FINANCING TO SUPPORT GROWTH OF COMPUTER DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMS

HARRISBURG, PA (July 8, 2009) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) announced today that it partnered with Graystone Bank to provide financing to Computer Development Systems, LLC.  The financing package enabled the company to buy and make improvements to an office condo located at 220 Cumberland Parkway, Unit #8, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County.  The new space moves this young company out of the owner's home and gives the employees much needed space in which to work.    

Computer Development Systems was founded in 2003 and has grown steadily since inception.  The company provides a mix of computer services to small and medium sized businesses.  They write their own software solutions and provide business to business computer/network consulting solutions involving the design and implementation of systems and e-business applications.  The company is owned by Jonathan Ebersole. 

HRC/CREDC provided a Small Business First (SBF) loan in the amount of $73,800 in conjunction with Graystone Bank financing and equity contributions.  Total project costs were approximately $169,600.  The project will help retain 5 full time jobs within three years.  The SBF loan program is designed to stimulate the expansion and assist in the retention of small business for the purpose of creating new jobs and retaining existing jobs in Pennsylvania.  This important program is administered by the Commonwealth's Department of Community and Economic Development and is funded with the ongoing support of the Administration and the General Assembly.
