Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Provides Financial Assistance For Two Regional Companies

HARRISBURG, PA (July 13, 2010) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) announced today that it has closed deals for financing with two regional companies through the federal SBA 504 loan program. The two loans helped both ACS Claim Service and Immigration Support Services purchase real estate in order to support growth.

ACS Claim Service, located in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County (Mechanicsburg 17055) received $317,000 in financing from CREDC. ACS is owned and primarily operated by Karen McKendry. The company is a third party administrator of workmen's' compensation claims.  In this capacity, it serves clients including insurance companies and self insured employers. CREDC's loan along with financing from Members 1st Federal Credit Union and equity contributions enabled ACS to purchase a 6,800 SF office building located on 101 Old Schoolhouse Lane, Mechanicsburg.

Immigration Support Services received $255,500 in financing to help relocate their offices to 2215 Millennium Way, Hampden Township, Cumberland County (Mechanicsburg 17050).  CREDC's loan along with financing from M&T Bank and equity contributions supported the building purchase.  The new location is a single unit office building that contains 10 offices, a conference room and a reception area with 2 large open spaces within the building that will be used for future expansion. Tom Richwine and Jeff Boatright started Immigration Support Services in 1998. ISS uses high technology, automated processing systems to expedite immigration processing for its clients.

The Chamber & CREDC is a certified lender for state programs and local packager of the SBA 504 program.   David Black, President of the Chamber & CREDC noted, "2010 has been a very good year for us so far.  More regional businesses and their commercial lenders have been contacting us to participate in deals.  Many businesses understand that now is a good time to grow their physical space or add new equipment in preparation for better economic times.  The programs offered through CREDC along with our solid partnerships with regional commercial lending institutions allow our mutual clients to stretch their dollars further using these programs.  ACS Claim Service and Immigration Support Services along with their lenders, Members 1st Federal Credit Union and M & T Bank respectively, are great examples of how this collaborative partnership works."
