HARRISBURG (September 1, 2010) -  The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) recently announced two promotions.  Amma Johnson has been named Assistant Vice President of Membership & Community Development; Nicole Keiner has been named Assistant Vice President of Communications & Marketing.

Johnson has been with the Chamber & CREDC since 2005 where she was hired as Membership Services Manager.  In January 2008, she was promoted to Director for Business Diversity.  In her new role, she will remain responsible for ensuring diversity and inclusion throughout the organization, overseeing membership operations and identifying new areas of outreach to the community.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.

In May of 2002, Keiner began an internship with HRC/CREDC. After the conclusion of her internship, she transitioned into a full-time position as Business Marketing Specialist. In September of 2003, she was promoted to Events Marketing Manager.  In 2005, she was named Director of Communications & Marketing.  In her new role as Assistant VP of Communications & Marketing, she will continue her responsibilities overseeing the organization's marketing and communication efforts in concert with the additional responsibilities of overseeing general operations on the Chamber side and overall development and success of events. Keiner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Bloomsburg University.  She is also a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management - a four-year nonprofit leadership training program at Villanova University.

Both will begin their new positions Monday, September 6th.

David Black, President & CEO of the organization said, "Nicole and Amma have excelled in their current roles with the organization and are ready to take on additional responsibilities.  We have some incredibly talented people working in this organization and the addition of Amma and Nicole to our leadership team will help the organization meet our current goals and accomplish even more for the region we all serve and call home."
